Animal bones found in archaeological settings are used to reconstruct past human behavior, especially around food acquisition and consumption.

My name is Adriana Velasco, I was born in Punto-Fijo, Venezuela and naturalized American citizen.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a certificate in archaeology and German from the University of Wisconsin.

I’m working on my Ph.D. dissertation on Seasonality Research in Archaeology using microscopy and micro-CT scan as a method.
